Hours of Operation:
The Finance Department handles the financial resources of the Town of Allenstown in a safe, fair, accurate, efficient and professional manner to meet all areas of responsibilities. This includes compliance with Federal, State and Local laws and ordinances and generally accepted accounting principles. The department also provides timely and accurate reports on the financial position and performance of the Town to the Board of Selectmen, management, and the general public.

Preparation of Financial Statements, reports, and other financial documents.
Note: On July 13, Diane Demers, former Finance Director, submitted her resignation effective Aug. 4, 2016. After advertising for candidates and receiving some 35 applications, the BOS approved the appointment of Karen Simmons as Finance Director at the Aug. 22nd BOS meeting.
