In the official 2019 Town Clerk budget, each line item (such as Town Clerk Salaries) has a budget code prefix such as 01.4140.10.110.
The following bar chart shows you at a glance where tax money is being spent. The unnecessary and confusing Municipal Agent position has been discontinued and those budget expenses have been realigned into the Town Clerk and Tax Collector budgets. That is why there is a large jump in the Town Clerk and Tax Collector salaries.
