The Finance Department handles the financial resources of the Town of Allenstown in a safe, fair, accurate, efficient and professional manner to meet all areas of responsibilities. This includes compliance with Federal, State and Local laws and ordinances and generally accepted accounting principles. The department also provides timely and accurate reports on the financial position and performance of the Town to the Board of Selectmen, management, and the general public. The Selectmen are looking for a new Finance Director and have appointed Dawna Baxter in the interim. Debbie Bender held this position from January 2018 to March 2022 and has taken a position with the Town of Amherst.
