Election ResultsOn Election Day, the weather was cool and breezy with a steady turnout. School partisans filled the pavement just outside the voting hall. Turnout was 774, higher than typical but significantly below voters registered. Once again the tail has wagged the dog. Town ResultsThis year the town went from three to five selectmen. Keith Klawes is a new Selectman, and Sandy McKenney was re-elected Selectman. Jim Rodger was elected to a one year term as Selectman. This has got to be a conflict of interest, and should be illegal. Jim Rodger was also elected as Sewer Commissioner for three years. Dave Bouffard garnered the one year Sewer Commissioner term. All the other positions had candidates running unopposed. Town Budget The proposed $4,342,740 Town Government budget was approved. YES 396
Sewer Dept. Budget The proposed $2,300,422 Sewer Dept. budget was approved. YES 546
