Town Hall Check town web site for current business hours. A Record Setting Election DayNov. 7, 2018 A whopping 1,586 Allenstown voters turned out to cast their ballots on Tuesday November 6th. By midday the voting machine showed that 600 voters had done their civic duty. At a typical March town election, the total is usually about 400 votes. Of interest was the fact that Allenstown voted virtually a straight Republican ticket. Congratulations for voting wisely. The only Democrat candidate to win in town was Alan Turcotte, who was re-elected State Rep. for Merrimack District 22. Congratulations, Alan. Statewide, the results were more in the Democrats favor. Again, the number of voters who participated was amazing. One report had the total New Hampshire vote at about 600,000.
