Georgia Boy Wants Four Day School Week

Now that you have recovered from the Town's Deliberative "Frostbite" Session of February 4th, here is an upbeat story about a cute little kid from Georgia, a story sure to warm "the cockles of your heart."

Thursday morning on Fox & Friends TV, they interviewed six-year-old Brodie Kenyon and his mom in Georgia about his petition to the government to cut the school week to four days. Brodie was very well spoken and assertive as he made the case for his request which would allow him to spend more time with his grandma.

The video has amassed a large following on Instagram and was even picked up by "The Daily Mail" in the UK.

What You Can Do

This might be something for the Allenstown School Board to consider. Just think, with only four days of school, there could be big cuts made in the school budget, a big drop in the school tax, more time for older students to earn money at part-time jobs, and other savings.   (©¿^)
