The New Hampshire Primary is September 11th

Aug. 17, 2018

The NH Primary is getting close. It's odd that they picked the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack for Primary Day.

Do you know who to vote for? First you need to know what districts you are in. For Allenstown, these are:

District
U.S. Senate (no election this year)
U.S. Congressional District 2 (northern and western NH)
Executive Council District 4
State Senate District 17
State Representative District 22
State Representative District 29

Next, the voting booths are going to be at St. John John's Parish Hall (that's what the town notice stated!) on School St. from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Finally, you need to know who is running for office. There will be three ballots but you can only use one of them. Go here for the ballots:

 Republican ballot
 Democrat ballot
 Libertarian ballot

What You Can Do

View the ballots and then print them. Decide which party you will vote for. As you learn more about the candidates, mark your choices on the ballot and bring it to the voting booth.
