Election Results

On Election Day, the weather was sunny and mild for a change, but turnout was very low, with only 366 out of about 3,000 registered voters making it to the polls. Once again the tail has wagged the dog.

Town Results

Maureen Higham was elected as the new Selectman, Carl Caporale was re-elected as Sewer Commissioner, Ron Pelissier was re-elected as Road Agent, and kathleen Pelissier was elected as Library Trustee. Most canddiates ran unopposed.

Several write-in candidates were elected.

The proposed town budget was easily approved. The proposed sewer budget was approved. All the Capital Reserve Fund articles passed.

On the school side, the proposed school budget was approved by a narrow margin. All the trust fund articles were approved. For each school position, the one incumbent was re-elected.
