Ballot Details 

Tuesday March 12, 2019 is election day at St. John's Parish Hall on School St. This year, there are about a dozen open town positions.

Please take a more active interest in what goes on in your town. If you want to try for a position, have your friends write in your name. We need more people who are willing scrutinize the town and sewer budgets and look for ways to minimize spending and maximize revenue.

CommentRon has served as Road Agent since 2010. In 2014 he worked to get town approval of a 10-year contract with Casella's for curbside trash collection. His most notable activity has been spending approved funding to repave worn out town roads.

CommentCarl has been a commissioner since about 2013 and has worked to improve the efficiency, safety, and profitability of the sewer treatment plant and to keep sewer rates as low as possible. His major goal now is to complete the School St. pump station which will eliminate the sewer pipe that runs under Iris Pond into Pembroke.

CommentFirst elected in 2014, Keith has recently served a few terms as chairman of the committee. Overall he has promoted free and open discussions while maintaining decorum and preventing budget disagreements from getting out of hand.
