It Looks Like a New Gazebo

Dateline: Aug. 30, 2021
updated Sept. 30, 2021

The newly renovated town hall gazebo was the subject of a recent news item on the town web site. Emelia V. and Ava C, members of Girl Scout Troop 2060, completed a project to renovate the structure in order to earn a Girl Scouts Silver Award. This project was wholeheartedly approved after the girls explained it at a Select Board meeting. They also volunteered to repaint the weathered town sign on the front lawn.

As you can see in the above photo, the gazebo's roof vents were repaired, the floor was refinished with a new coat of dark green paint, the posts were repainted, the front railing was given a new design, and other improvements were made. They were assisted by several other family members.

They certainly did a great job and deserved the award.

What You Can Do

Read all about it in the following story. Note that the first photo shows the run down condition of the gazebo while the rest of the photos show how good it looks after renovation.
