Construction Progress on the Assisted Living Facility

Dateline: Nov. 21, 2021

The following slideshow shows the latest aerial view of the construction site photographed by the Hillsbrook Village drone. Although the photos show that roof sheathing was installed on 3/4 of the building, within a few days, the entire building was covered with sheathing or shingles. The final photo gives a scenic view of Route 28 leading to the mountains to the north.

Optimus Senior Living provided the following construction updates.

  • Temporary power from the street has been installed in temporary breaker boxes. That's why you can see lights in the building at night. Permanent three-phase power is planned for next May.
  • Shower units are to be delivered in four shipments over the next few weeks.
