Gifts from the Hooksett Rotary

Dateline: Jan. 29, 2022

Our brand new Allenstown Ice Rink has been open for a few weeks and neighborhood children and others have been enjoying this new town facility. A hardy band of volunteers has also been working with the EDC and the Highway Dept. to clear snow off the rink and keep its surface nice and smooth.

Recently, Mike and Carmen Mailloux of the Hooksett Rotary – bless their hearts – donated about 19 pairs of sharpened hockey and figure skates and may soon give us more.
A special thanks goes to Diane and Ron Adinolfo, for inventorying, cleaning up, and branding the skates, and also donating some of their own skates. If you have some ice skates you no longer use, consider donating them at Town Hall.

A policy for renting skates is in the works. The skates are to be available at Town Hall.

What You Can Do

Read more about this on the town web site and let the EDC know if you might like to rent a pair or swap yours for a larger size:
