Click for Spooky Sounds The EDC held a secret ballot to select winners. The Police Dept. and Fire Dept. made their own secret choices and had no knowledge of the EDC choices. The results were a real surprise.

Winners will be announced and prizes awarded at the Awards Ceremony at Blueberry Express Park (Town Hall lawn) on Saturday, October 28th at 4:00 p.m. What You Need to DoFirst, starting on October 2nd until October 22, you need to register your Allenstown home. Send an e-mail to the Halloween Contest Registration Address. Include your name, street address, and one or two photos of your decorations. The photo is required so that everyone can preview your decorations and then find them after dark. Second, from October 2 till October 27, residents should keep checking the Halloween Lighting Contest web page (TBD) to view photos of the homes that are participating in the contest. Drive around town and check them out in person. The EDC, Police Dept., and Fire Dept. will check out all the decorated homes in town and decide on the winning decorations. Third, come to the Halloween Lighting Awards Ceremony at Town Hall on Saturday, October 28th at 4:00 p.m. and celebrate! First, second, and third place trophies and prizes for Best Decorations are to be awarded by the EDC. Trophies for Best Decorations are also to be awarded by the Police Dept. and Fire Dept.
