On Sunday May 19 from 3:00-6:00 p.m., the Allenstown Economic Development Committee hosts its first concert of the year. A local five-piece band, Out on Bail, is scheduled to perform for us in the Gazebo at Blueberry Express Park in front of Town Hall.

The band, whose leader hails from Hooksett and who has many family members in law enforcement (hence the band name), performs Classic Rock, Country, Oldies, & Blues from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s -- great music for everyone to enjoy.

There is an engaging sound with this band as they play memorable songs from Journey, Patsy Cline, Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Toby Keith (RIP), Elvis Presley, Fleetwood Mac, Jefferson Airplane, and more.

Vocalist Charmaine Last sets the tone and at times performs a song while walking through the audience engaging people one on one.

A unique aspect to their performance is that, at the end of the concert, they ask the audience to stand and sing a patriotic song like "God Bless America" with them.

What a fine way to end a concert.

Food Grill

A professional Concord-based cook will provide a variety of cooked-to-order entrees. The menu includes items like sweet or spicy Italian sausage subs with fried onions, cheeseburgers, jumbo hot dogs, and other entrees to feast on while enjoying the concert and the cruise night events.

Touch a Fire Engine

In support of the concert, the Allenstown Fire Department hopes to display one of their fire engines for young and old to get a close look. We are not sure which vehicle it will be, but it will be exciting to have our own fire fighters show off one of their excellent fire fighting vehicles.

Parking

Parking is on the Library Street, on School Street, and at town hall. The Dupont School field is reserved for Cruise Night cars. So pack up your lawn chairs or blankets and be part of this summer concert on the town green.
